Bespoke wedding ceremonies
From the moment we first speak, to the moment I stand with you on your wedding day, I will be pouring my heart and soul into your big day to give you the ceremony you deserve - relaxed, joyful, unforgettable.
A ceremony that fills the entire room with love, hopefully a few laughs and leaves you feeling that it was completely, authentically you (as well as your guests saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to).
I'm based in Stroud and typically cover Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds but happy to travel further afield for you.
My bespoke wedding ceremony package includes:
- Initial meeting - online or in-person (ideally in person with coffee and cake)
- In-depth ceremony questionaire, to help me get to know you both as individuals, as a couple and of course,
your story to assist in writing your script - Getting to know you better meeting - online or in-person (another great opportunity for coffee)
- Guidance on any rituals, readings or anything you'd like to include that makes your heart sing
- Bespoke ceremony script written just for you, amended as many times as you'd like
- Guidance on your wedding ceremony vows
- One site visit or rehersal at your wedding venue
- Full support any time you have a question, need anything or just after a good chat via whatsapp, email or phone
- Guidance to any one included in the ceremony to fill them (and you) with confidence
- Arrive one hour before the ceremony
- Liase with wedding venue and suppliers on the day so you don't have to worry about a thing
- Greet your guests as they arrive
- Deliver an unforgettable wedding ceremony that leaves you and your guests feeling it was completely "you"
- Framed presentation of your cermony script available (additional £50)

I photographed a wedding that Laura was the celebrant for in the Cotswolds and I just loved her very personal and warm approach. As a wedding photographer, I have worked with numerous celebrants, and I just love working with Laura as her ceremonies feel thoughtful and empathetic. She also made the couple very relaxed which only makes for better photos too!
Many couples ask, what is a celebrant at a wedding?
It’s someone who designs a ceremony entirely around you without limits or templates.
Celebrants help couples celebrate their story and commitment in a way that feels natural and personal.
Couples often want warmth, flexibility, and meaning and a celebrant wedding ceremony delivers just that and more. Celebrants help calm nerves, guide the flow, and hold the space beautifully.
Is a celebrant wedding ceremony legal?
Unfortunately not
but the process is easier than you think!
All couples have to give 'Notice of Marrige' (as you would regardless of having a celebrant wedding or registrar), you would then have a 'Statutory Registration of Marriage' at your local registry office - these are sometimes known as two plus two as only the couple plus two witnesses are able to attend.
There are no additions to the ceremony such as vows or ring exchanges but it does make your marriage legal. My husband and I had a celebrant wedding ceremony and had to go through this process so I have personally experienced how simple it is!
