As a celebrant these are my 5 favourite wedding ceremony ideas

Looking for wedding inspiration? These are my favourite ideas for your ceremony (spoiler alert: I did all these at my own wedding!)

Set up a laptop on a free chair and video call friends and family who aren’t able to make it, they get a front row seat to your unique ceremony. (Make sure you create a meeting and send the invites ahead of the day)

Keeping your wedding ceremony small means it feels intimate and intentional however the most important thing regardless of the size of your guest list is to ONLY invite those you really care about and vice versa.

Rope a friend in to record the ceremony for you. All you need is a tripod and camera phone, they don’t even need to hold it, just position it at the end of the aisle. This budget friendly option saves a ton on a videographer and allows you to watch back your ceremony whenever you want! Bonus tip: upload on YouTube and share with friends and family who couldn’t make the ceremony.

Involve all your guests by having a ring warming ceremony. Your wedding rings are passed around your guests in a bowl for them to “warm them” with their good wishes and love for your married life.

Sing your vows! My husband sung a portion of his vows to me and it was so incredible. You don’t have to sing but take this as your sign to say your vows how you want to whether that’s in sign language, foreign language or even in written word, it’s up to you.

Having a celebrant wedding ceremony allows you to include all these ideas and more so you have the most unique ceremony designed around you. Get in touch with me today to chat about your tailor-made ceremony: laurafelicianocelebrant@gmail.com
